Hands preparing a fresh batch of Panjari Ladoo
How It's Made

Every Batch Begins
With Patience.

Some recipes deserve time. Every Greedy Lips Panjari Ladoo is prepared fresh using traditional methods that have been part of Indian kitchens for generations. We don't rush the process because great flavour can't be hurried.

Whole wheat flour slow-roasting to a golden colour
Step One

Roasting
the Foundation.

This step cannot be hurried

Every batch starts with whole wheat flour and a heavy pan over controlled heat. Nothing else, no oil, no liquid, just flour and heat, and time. We stir constantly and watch carefully, because the colour shifts from pale to golden to deep amber over the course of twenty to thirty minutes.

The moment the flour reaches the right stage, it releases a warm, nutty fragrance that fills the kitchen. That fragrance is not a by-product. It is the flavour being formed. Everything that follows, the ghee, the dry fruits, the cardamom, will be carried by that roasted base.

"Twenty to thirty minutes of attention. Every single batch."

Step Two

The Warmth
of Desi Ghee.

Folded in, not simply mixed

Once the flour reaches the right stage, warm desi ghee is added gradually. Not poured all at once, added slowly, folded in between each addition, allowing the flour to absorb it fully before the next spoonful.

This method creates a texture that cannot be achieved by combining both ingredients at the same time. The flour absorbs the ghee from the inside out, becoming soft and dense and rich without becoming heavy.

We use pure desi ghee. Not a blend, not a substitute. The flavour of real ghee, warm, slightly grassy, deeply rich, is not something that can be replicated.

"Added slowly. Folded in. Never rushed."

Almonds, pistachios and cardamom being folded into the warm mixture
Step Three

A Careful
Balance.

Every ingredient has a purpose

Almonds, pistachios, edible gond, and freshly crushed cardamom are folded in while the mixture is still warm. The warmth matters because it allows each ingredient to begin integrating with the base rather than sitting on top of it.

Nothing is added simply to increase weight or to appear on an ingredient list. The almonds bring crunch and a natural sweetness. The pistachios bring colour and a subtle floral note. The gond, fried separately in ghee until it puffs, brings a texture found nowhere else.

The proportions are fixed by practice, not by formula. Too many almonds and the texture becomes uneven. Too little cardamom and the ladoo finishes abruptly.

"Every ingredient in the right proportion. Every time."

Hands rolling a Panjari Ladoo by hand
Step Four

Rolled by Hand.
Every Single One.

No moulds. No machines. No two exactly alike. Every ladoo is shaped by hand, which means every ladoo carries the quiet signature of the person who made it.

"Those small differences are not flaws. They are proof."

Step Five

Packed
Fresh.

Same day. Every time.

Freshly rolled ladoos are packed the same day they are made. Not the following morning. Not after a resting period. The same day, while they are at their freshest, before the aromas begin to settle.

The box is lined with tissue to protect the surface of each ladoo during transit. The lid is sealed carefully. From this moment, the box is ready, and within 24 hours, it is on its way to you.

We never prepare boxes in advance and store them. Every box that leaves our kitchen was packed that day, from a batch made that day.

"From rolling to sealing in the same few hours."

Why Small Batches

Prepared in
small batches.
On purpose.

We limit every batch deliberately. Not because of capacity, because of attention. A small batch can be watched closely at every stage. The roasting can be judged accurately. The proportions can be measured carefully. The rolling can be done without rushing.

01
Full Attention

Every batch is watched from the first minute of roasting to the last ladoo packed.

02
Consistent Quality

Smaller batches mean fewer variables. Every ladoo in every box meets the same standard.

03
True Freshness

A small batch can be prepared, packed and dispatched the same day. No storage. No waiting.
